Order pickers/selectors with electric motors are designed for hand-loading
of less than pallet load quantities on or off various rack positionsfor
with the operator safely lifted on a platform with the forks of the unit.
Order pickers/selector lift trucks of this type are equipped with solid
poly tires that are recommended for use on a hard smooth surfaces such
as concrete. Very narrow aisle vehicles such as these electric order
pickers/selectors can operate in less than 6 ft aisles.
Using outriggers and a standard electric order pickers/selector wheel
configuration these units will not be capable of crossing over a dock
plate. You cannot direct-load from the storage rack to the docked 18
wheeler using these electric order pickers/selectors.
